Yet another Theme Park question!!!!

July or August...... which month will be the busiest??? xx

July after the kids break up from school and all of August, avoid at these times unless you are (a) a kid (b) the parent of a kid (c) you dont mind kids.

Beginning of July would be best - i.e. pre-summer break up!

Anything else... well is a recipe for a LONG wait in queue's!

I went to Alton Towers last August and, although the morning was quiet (waiting under an hour for rides), the afternoon was a nightmare with queue times exceeding 3 hours. So, if you haven't got the patience of a saint and don't like standing still for the best part of the day then I'd suggest not going until after the summer holidays.

I was wanting to go on the coach (someone sugguested a company called Andrews). I looked on their site and they are doing a trip on July 24th and Aug 27th.
Wouldve prefered going in October but they dont do one.

Has anyone been with Central Trains? I know they do a ticket that includes train travel to a neaby station, then bus travel to the park. x

Go for the train option. You have the freedom to go when you want then and won't be restricted to the peak months. Central trains are not bad given the state of the rail network and the deal that you have found sounds great. :)

Yeah reckon ill go with that. Think the park is only 25 mins from the station. Reckon ill try early July.
