The peacocks seem to have moved from S6 over to S5 :hihi: and have been seen this evening sitting on a roof in shiregreen :o , the RSPCA were called but said they couldn't help, they have now flown away...wonder where they will turn up next :)

I live at Shiregreen heard what I thought sounded like exotic birds at teatime tonight, made a change from listening to the lesser spotted chav that is often heard in these parts and is a native to this area. Thought someone had installed avery nearby, what part of Shiregreen where they spotted?

OMG whata weird coincodence, I was talking about this just yesterday. Basically I went to Bradford sat and a peacock flew infront of the car. kinda shocking but was fantastic!! I said "how cool it would be to have wild peacocks flying about in sheffield"! and heres this thread! :)

House we stayed at just outside Peterborough at weekend has 15 in the garden. and they're noisey *******. Gf used to live there.

they'll be high on drugs or will have nicked a car or 2 by now

They were seen on a roof on shirehall cres, not heard anymore since though......which is rather a shame really :(

hello..........just a peacock update ! ..........i live on bellhouse rd and at about 10pm last night we was sat on the back garden having a drink ......when suddenly i saw something huge flying towards me ....:wow: ...it was great to see coz ive never seen one in flight .......they then both landed on my roof and was happily just chilling up there for hours ! :thumbsup:

awww ! well keep a look out Michelle .......they was in the middle of bellhouse rd last weekend too ! ......just where oaks lane is that goes down to the park!! umm!!!mebbe!!!... peacocks are scared of OWLS ?? :hihi: ....sorry could'nt help myself !!
