Well I assumed not as he asked for the landlord or occupant :)

for the princely sum of £2 HM Land Registry will tell you the last registered owner by senind you an electronic copy of the registration document for the property. Go to HM Land Registry website and have your credit/debit card handy. They will then take your £2, and give you access to the file for that address so you can find the last person the property was transferred to.

If I go off and get the last land lord's/owner's name then i have the problem of getting their telephone number.

As to y:

People do live there. One 'lady' lives in the smallest room and wants to move out but its too small for me. There is a big room available and i want it. BUT she will not give me the landlords number as she is "not an agent for the landlord". My fondness for short russian women is, as a result, at an all time low.

If u guys can think of any nasty places/things i can do with her mobile number pls...do let me know.
