Jamie   10 #1 Posted June 2, 2004 Hi,  I have a problem with my left ankle.  I've been doing some (road) running lately but it's been a recurring problem for years.  Even now and then (usually as the result of exercise) it will swell up and at the it feels like bone against bone ...  What can I do about this ?  Do they have sports injury ankle specialists ?  Do you know one ?  Any ideas ...  Thanks, Jamie. duffman   10 #2 Posted June 2, 2004 If it's a recurring problem the best thing to start off with is seeing your GP and try to get in with the surgeries phsyio, if they can't solve the problem they will send you to a specialist.  I had a problem with my ankle and knee not so long ago. I was sent to a place on Halifax road where after a few months of treatment there it was so much better, no pain at all now with it. mr.blaze   10 #3 Posted June 3, 2004 There is a place called The White House on Sandygate road that specialises in Sports Injuries etc. My dad went there about a knee injury a few years ago.
 Share this content via...
kittykat   10 #4 Posted June 5, 2004 Sounds like osteoarthritis to me. Running does more harm than good ive always thought - and its a damn good excuse to never do it,
 Share this content via...
