Anyone used the function room upstairs in the Red Deer?

Whats it like? Is there a bar up there? Would it be OK for a party?
Would be interested to hear any feedback.

Yeah its a great boozer, been going in there on and off for years. Not sure what the upstairs room is like though as never been up there. I understand it is suitable for around thirty people?

I have been several times. It is a good room but can get crowded as it is only small. Also, you need to be pretty fit and able as it has steep winding stairs leading up to it.

Hmmm, thanks Sid. Stairs might be a problem, especially if there is drink involved... :)
