If you have been to hospital recently, you might want to post an opinion of what you thought of the services received on a new website, Patient Opinion. The organisation is an independent, not-for-profit Social Enterprise and you can post an opinion about any hospital in England.
For further information, to post an opinion and rate a hospital, visit www.patientopinion.org.uk.

Been to the Royal Hallamshire. The people are brilliant, caring and kind. lot of waiting around though.....
Please post all responses on www.patientopinion.org.uk - it takes a couple of minutes to register and the opinions are annonymous and confidential.
Please tell others about the service too!
Thanks
Mixed views and experiences so I'm glad to learn the feedback is supposedly anonymous which I am entirely confident they'll be able to track down to the poster based on the information the poster provides.
Just had a look at the site. It is definitely not anonymous. Required fields include postcode, nickname, email address + 5 pieces of personal data which proves they are able to trace and identify you unless you're an expert creative fiction writer.
And how, I ask myself could I give feedback, positive or negative, without the relevant incident being traceable.
As this website confirm they work with NHS hospitals as clients I also suspect they obtain feedback from patients/carers to drum up fee-paying consultancy work on customer care, audit, medical compliance and related initiatives in the NHS hospitals.
As it's their business I also suspect they will use data, particularly negative data re potentially diffcult cases in client presentations. Although such data will undoubtedly be annonymised and aggregated who can say they wont indicate sources if asked to do so informally.
Personally I wouldnt touch this site with a barge pole. It is your judgement call whether or not to respond.

So you enter your information on that site and they sell it to the NHS???
If you read what I wrote, you will see that's not quite what i said.
