Thats good but the best for me was the dragon khan in port aventura-as it had loads of loops!

I hate heights and have no idea why I enjoy roller coasters so much!

I guess I'm a bit old fashioned because I prefer the Big Dipper at Blackpool.

There's something about a hundred years old roller-coaster made of wood rattling, creaking, groaning and squeaking as you whizz round.

My personal fave is AIR

My favourite is the Grand National in Blackpool. Especially the bit where you can actually feel the cars leave the track!

There's something about the older wooden rollercoasters that modern ones don't have (and I've been on plenty).

Best 'modern' one would be Nemesis for me.

Last time I was at Alton Towers, the cups and saucers were the only thing that DID make me ill! Could have had something to do with the bag of greasy donuts we'd just polished off I suppose  :?

I went on one in Cincinnati called the Vortex a few years ago.

I screamed like a banshee for five minutes then threw up when I got off. I have never been so terrified in my life. It took me about an hour to recover. Haven't been on one since.

Never go on a ride named after a bleach!:(

Mine has to be Nemesis also, just make sure you tie your trainers on tight before you get on.

The Shockwave at Dreyton Manor Park is also very good.

I prefer the old wooden ones. The Grand national at Blackpool is my personal favourite. Apparently It was sustained slight damage in the recent fire at the pleasure beach.

I am the biggest wimp you will ever meet! This is a true story! When I went to Florida for the first time, I was about 10 or 11... We were in the Magic Kingdom park and we were in the Tommorrow land area, which is all futuristic and space age, very cool!!! Mum and I saw a very chilled out looking ride, where people went around the Tomorrow land area at a slow pace, they called it the Carousel of progress.... Very interesting me thinks, so we went to get in the queue... Unfortunately, we got in the wrong queue and it only dawned on us when we saw rocket shaped seats and people getting off the ride looking very stunned... We couldn't get out at that point so we had to go on it. It was Space Mountain, a very fast roller coaster in the dark! Oh my god I was so scared I couldn't even scream!!! My mum was sat behind me and she was screaming her head off but I just sat there in silence, because I was just about paralysed with shock and fear! Needless to say, when I returned to Florida five years later, I didn't go on Space Mountain!

Aerosmith Rock N Roll @ MGM and Tower of terror (not quite a rollercoster but a great ride anyway).
I do love the 3D ones like Spiderman aswell.

Nemesis I'd say. I used to prefer Oblivion but I'm too scared to go on it now... :loopy:

Absolutely! Tower of Terror all the way! I went on it 6 times!

Have you heard the claims that it's actually all a simulation, and you don't drop at all and the bit outside where you see the doors opening is all very clever with video screens and the like? Do you think it's true (how can it be, with the g's when you drop, lifting off your seat etc.)? Even then, the scenery and atmosphere is damned good!
