and do not have a clue how to get to ecclesall road by bus, do i have to go into town first or is there a bus i can catch near norton water tower, ridgeway road, blackstock road etc that will take me straight there?

The only one that will get anywhere near there is the 1, leaving Townend at about 25 past the hour (they're only 1 an hour, except round 6-7am, when it's every 30 minutes), which will take you to Ecclesall Road South, before going to Hunter's Bar and turning up Rustlings Road. Depending on where you have to get to on Eccy Road, you might need another bus going towards town.

Forgot to say, it goes by the water tower after leaving Townend, if that's easier for you ......

thanks, i only live few mins from water tower so thats ok, have to be there at 11, i will look on bus website for timetable now i know what number i can catch, is it SYT do you know?:)

Yeah, it's First. When I get it back from Townend it goes past the water tower about half past, but it won't get to Rustlings Road for a good 20-25 minutes or so.
