sheff_blade 13-06-2006, 20:46 I know thi has probably been asked before but i cant find it so, can anyone name as many exact locations of full monty film as possible.
these are what i already know -
handsworth asda (old one now)
the dancing club is drapers in beighton apparantly
gaz's flat is in hillsbro near the kfc and pizza hut etc.
nathans school is also near there close to all the car salesrooms and the bingo place and where david ford heaing is.
any more please? mainly which club the final scenes are fimed in.

The film was premiered at the former Crystal Peaks cinema.

Newsagents at the top of Granville Road - but the rubbish bin was put there just for the film.
The Jobcentre (UBO) on West Street (corner of Rockingham Street).
The film was premiered at the former Crystal Peaks cinema.
The interior was actually filmed in the Burton Street Project, Langsett building and the script for the sequence is hung on the wall in the cafe plus various other evidence.
Also, the ball room dancing sequence was filmed in the other half of the same room. It's been decorated half and half right up until last year.
The bus stop outside Carterknowle School where Gerald admits to worrying about getting a stiffy :)

Draggletail 14-06-2006, 00:10 The house where the guys jumped naked over the gardens was on Huntingtower Rd off Ecclesall Rd near Banner Cross. The Camera view was from Dobbin Hill. Our garden was in it :)
Our old outside toilet and potting shed featured in the scene :hihi:
Don't live there now though.
Granville Road (when Tom Wilkinson chucks all the papers in the bin)
Langsett Road (where Nathan is picked up after running off, outside the petrol station which is now flats)
The outside shot of the first club is Idsworth Road at Page Hall.

Actually the jobcentre scenes were filmed in the old Burton Street School at Hillsborough.
I worked there when I was on the Prince's Trust years ago and when I saw the Full Monty film, I recognised the reception area as where they queued up for the "Job Centre" dance scene to Donna Summer's "Hot stuff".
