Hello i have one hamster(male) and i was told hamsters have to be kept on there own so i could not have 2, is this true? and can they mix with other animals like mice or rats or would these have to be kept in a seperate cage i have a big cage that can be connected to other sections.

You're probably going to be disappointed. Hamsters can only be kept alone.
