Just thought I'd update you all. We made the long journey from Sheffield to Santa Pod this weekend in the XR4i and the Fiesta. All went well. The weather was scorching. Both got terrible sun burn. No serious breakdowns and both cars have come back running a lot better for the blast down the motorway. (I did get told off for "thrashing" the fiesta though. I was only doing 90!)

Were any of your cars on the drag strip?

Liam forgot his license so couldn't take the Siera down and I didn't really think that the Fiesta would have been up to it, but having watched some of the other cars going down I wish I had.

Excellent, I have never been but have always fancied it.

It's a great weekend away. Lots and fun and every body is really friendly.

I guess we will have to take our car down when it is finished for a RWYB day. I know a couple of friends would like to pit their car against ours.

A friend has put a Rover V8 in to his hyundai stella, now that is a bit of a retro classic :D
