When you think of theme parks, which theme park do you think of first?

Disney World, Florida (which really counts as 7)! Then Alton Towers and Euro Disney as joint second.

I think of Alton Towers first where UK parks are concerned, then American Adventure/Drayton Manor! All had their moments :) once went to Alton Towers 3 sundays in a row haha (5 in total that year)...was all thanks to Weetabix and their cheap entry offers!! :) Think we got hooked on the Marines too ;)

However, my faves, which the above can't match are all in Florida!! :) Islands Of Adventure just sneaks ahead of MGM etc! Im going in less than 3 weeks!! Cant wait!

Flamingo land is so cruel! That zoo is horrible!

Out of those alton towers, but our theme parks arent as good as the ones abroad, but I think thats also due to the better weather as well as the faster rollercoasters!

I was really dissappointed by Islands of Adventure, had no atmosphere like that in Disneyworld.

RPG - Epcot made me laugh! Did you go in the 'UK' section? WHat the HELL was that all about?! All those beermats and little red buses on sale...and a chip shop where the chips are wrapped in fake newspaper. In general I liked it though. I really love the attention to detail in Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom. The scenery/landscaping's just perfect.

I agree about the atmosphere, nothing can rival Disney in terms of that, as they were the original theme parks! I was just meaning i enjoyed Islands of Adventure more as it had better rides/rollercoasters! Incredible Hulk and Duelling Dragons were my favourites!

When I think of theme parks it has to be Alton Towers for me, although going to Florida recently makes me think of Universal Theme parks.

Preach you don't know how that reads but I can't say on a family forum!

Alton Towers is my favourite - Nemesis still my favourite ride. Went very early this year before the park properly opened on a freebie and only got to go on oblivion. :(
Must go on a proper trip next year.
