So, the 41 route reduced their weekly fair to £9 to compete with the 120, found out today that as of Monday the 120 route will charge just £5 for a weekly megarider, this won't let you use the tram as well but I'm not complaining.
This price war is getting a bit silly but if they want to keep lowering the prices then I'm all for. :thumbsup:

i wish they would lower them for my routes! £5 sounds alot better than the £15 i pay a week, just for a buses too!

well maybe the competition will drive price down on more routes... but maybe not (economist me speaking!)

This little price war will, I fear all end in tears and who will suffer the bus user of course the bus 'managers' will still be using their company cars.

Price war is a good thing for consumers. After all we have the power to decide wether to use First or stagechach. Bus travel is overpriced and rubbish anyway it shoud be 50p and a day pass should be £2, and shefield should have an universal ticket system so you can use any bus company.
