Hi, new to this site
I would be grateful for info on good secondary schools in Sheffield and 6th Form, I have 3 children all ready for secondary school.
I have done some research, and looking to relocate to Woodseats Hillsborough areas etc from the South East of England.

In short a good neighbourhood, for a family that has never lived in Sheffield.

send em to the ones that 2wentypence said...the 'posh' ones' lol, but also consider medowhead if your moving to woodseats, there are some safe people there. And Myers Grove in stanni if in hilsbrough, i know its got quite a bad rep, but the people there are lovely, and there aint much fightin goin on either! hope it helped

Note that only the schools in the south west corner of the city still have 6th forms (the ones mentioned by 2wentypence and a couple of others). In the rest of the city a 6th form college system operates.

This is because only one of the city's 6 MPs (i.e., the only non-Labour one) stood up to the (Labour) council when they introduced the idea in the late 80s...

no don't send anyone to Myrtle Springs,as it seems ex pupils cant even spell it !

If you live in Hillsborough you could try for Bradfield or Wisewood?
