I have it from a very reliable source that there were two peacocks - or to be more precise - peahens flying around Middlewood yesterday. They seemed to spend a lot of their time on the roof of the KFC.

Anyone else spot these two unlikely visitors. Are they still around? And has anyone had some strange tasting KFC recently??

I saw them on Stockarth Lane going up to Worrall. There were three of them then, so maybe one has been cooked...

They are very stupid animals. If you drive a car at one, it won't move. I had to get out of the car and physically move two of them, and the other followed.

Just brought back a very funny moment for me!

An Italian friend of mine seeing a Peacock and a Peahen together said, ' look, that poor one has lost all it's feathers, they should kill it. ' :D

My workmates sister came home to find them sat on her roof, they then had a stoll down the road and spent the night on a neighbours chimney stack. Very odd.
