well i recently applied to the housing to try and get myself a council house, and we made an application for priority placement, we went and had the meeting with them and within the first few minutes we established we counldnt get priority on the grounds of overcrowding (which we knew already) but we were basing it on medical reasons. after 3-4 weeks of them deliberating over it and being offered doctors notes (which they declined) they wrote back to me and told me that i couldnt get priority as we are not overcrowded!!!!!!!!! so now i have had to send another letter back to them which i expect will take another month!!! a bunch of monkeys could do that bloody job better than them!

Typical Sheffield council.
And god help you if you need to claim housing benefit....
A few years ago my family had to claim it, and by the time they had got it sorted they said they wouldnt backdate it.
This left us owing them over £1200 which we didnt have - they then took us to court and got a repossesion order :o
Why don't you try;-
Leaping out of the back of a European articulated lorry looking dishevelled-
Go straight to the benefits/housing and refuse to speak English-
Wait for the 500-bedroom mansion overlooking the Hanging Gardens of Babylon.:hihi:

I applied to sheffield housing to be moved due to my life being at risk from local yobs smashing our windows and threatening us. Also with harrassment and them putting a staffy in our garden to kill my dog at the time. They told me 3 - 5 years I have to wait
