It's glorious isn't it? We went to view some houses today and while it was grim trudging about in the warm weather it was one of those days which enabled you to imagine oneself reclining in a lounger in the back garden with a glass of Pimms in one hand and a sizzling bbq nearby.

Due to other commitments we've had to pass up two offers of bbq's from very good friends other wise we'd be quaffing Pimms and gorging ourselves on meat in this wonderful weather. long may it continue!!

You enjoy it Godzilla, I'm doing the same, we don't get that many lovely days like this do we ... so we've got to make the best of them.

I made myself blueberry pancakes with creme freche for lunch - never done them before - lovely

It is indeed a lovely evening. I will sit in the garden and chill out for as long as I can before I have to run to the front to shift some reckless car damaging little football kicking scrubber away from my newly polished motor.
I love how the bass from neighbours cheap but huge hifi mixes with the distorted bass emanating from some banged up pile of crap Vauxhall Corsa with its 3 foot diameter exhaust as it wheel spins up and down the street.
I will revel in the vast swathes of skunkweed smoke billowing around the houses in the light breeze.
The constant barking of dogs, neverending as pets are left unchecked on gardens.
If I am lucky I will hear the roar of sirens as the armed response unit raid yet another household for its bad choice of horticulture.
Ahhhh summer life on a council estate :)

Yes, everyone walking about in tee shirts and shorts,licking Mr.Whippy ice creams. Been down to Bridgenorth in Shropshire.Wonderful historical market town.Nice pub lunch,then onto Bewdley to sit by the River Severn.Wonderful part of England.
