Anyone had problems with Vauxhall Corsa's timings? Mk1.
Ive got a 1999 Corsa and apparently the timing is the cause of the engine ceasing up.Been told there was no oil in the engine but there was half the dip stick less than 3 days ago. (ceasing up and all the pistons and cylinder heads cracking/twisting and rendering the engine buggered) :confused:

I'm not a car expert, but I think I'm right in saying that if your timing's goosed (worse case being cam belt snapping) then, yep that's pretty much gonna break your engine (aka "doing a Raikonnen"). If that happens, then as part of the process I think most of your oil will have become gaseous - explaining the change in levels?
