Here's the yarn from the couple of orders I've made from The Knitting Zone (http://www.knittingzone.com/catalog/index.php):

Lorna's Laces Shepherd Sock (http://s44.photobucket.com/albums/f40/ppn_2204/?action=view&current=LL.jpg), in Sage.

Artyarns Supermerino (http://s44.photobucket.com/albums/f40/ppn_2204/?action=view&current=Artyarns.jpg), in colour 131.

The LL is for the Lace Leaf socks, though I'm very tempted to use it for the Elfine's as I really want to try out the Magic Loop. I'm falling seriously behind!

The Artyarns is for a secret project... I'll post a photo when it's done though :D .

My Posh Yarn (http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f40/ppn_2204/Posh.jpg) arrived yesterday. I must admit to being a tiny bit disappointed.

Don't worry; the yarn is lovely and soft, and I do like the colours. It's just that I was expecting the yarn to have smaller sections of colour, instead of such large swathes. Maybe it's just how it's skeined, but mine does look a little different from what I was expecting (http://www.poshyarn.co.uk/colours.html).

I shall reserve final judgement until it's knitted up though. Now, I've just got to decide what to use it for...

It's like they only show you the most colourful bit on the website, or you get every colour shown on the site in one hank!

It's very unusual, I like it :)

It is rather nice, though it reminds me more of the sock yarn from Curious Yarns (http://www.curiousyarns.co.uk/sock2.html). I was expecting a little more variegation, as I've found that such blocks of colour in the yarn tend to translate to blocks of colour in the knitting. I usually like a more subtle effect.

But, we'll see what happens. I'll post some more photos once I've decided what the first skein is going to be used for.
