I have this problem with Nuisance Neighbours across the road from me.Its mainly they 15 year old son who is the nuisance making sly and vulgar comments and tresspassing on mine and other peoples properties.So what should i do just ignore him,talk with his parents,phone the police or get intouch with the council.? :?

There is ALWAYS someone like that.

There's not much you can do about it, since people like him don't respect any kind of authority and ignore any instructions given. More than likely he takes after the parents, so I wouldn't bother approaching them.

Think it depends if you're in a council house. If you are then council has a bit more muscle. Not sure they would get involved unless it was noise nuisance or an environmental health problem but I could be wrong.

The police are a dead loss but you wouldn't lose anything by mentioning it to your community constable.

As for approaching them or their parents, I suppose it depends what sort of people they are. You might be on a hiding to nothing or might get a brick through your window. Fence your property and buy a big dog. :evil:

As for the 15 year old reprobate - I'm guessing all this behaviour is making him feel like a big man.

Speaking personally as someone whose moral compass was depolarized long ago, I'd capture his face on film or digicam, and then photoshop him into some scene that will make him out to be a big girl's blouse. Do some detective work, and then post these images everywhere he hangs out.

Alternatively you could kill him with kindness. (drop a big bag of pound coins on him from a great height).

This sort of utterly unexpected tactic can work by totally wrongfooting people. Turn up on his doorstep with a cake and say its for him because he's such a generous and helpful soul who really adds to the community. Get others to do the same, leave him flowers, cuddly teddy bears etc.

Like rough music only quieter. And hopefully wont lead to a cycle of vendettas...

I believed Bouncer was specifically reffering to certain rules held by that religion.
If you wish to discuss the ins and out's of the other I will wholeheartedly do so, as I really don't agree with what you have just said there, but this isn't the thread to go on.

As for dealing with a nuisance neighbour you need to visit your local Housing Office which is Verdant Way. You do not have to be a Council tenant to complain. You can make an anonymous complaint which will be logged on the computer and investigated.

How much is it? I have problems on a major scale with my immediate neighbours so much so that my health has suffered.

The Council aren't bothered and put the onus on us to monitor and do their dirty work. The neighbours remain, we remain, the problems remain. We own our property and don't see why we should sell up after many happy years here whilst they have only lived here a couple of years. They have no respect for anyone.

Tape the little s**t if you can (video would be better).Take it into your local housing office ,explain the situation, Show them your evidence and they will send someone from their Antisocial Behaviour Section to see them.These people will get a warning and if they continue it could go as far as court and threat of eviction.You dont have to be a coucil tennant to do this.

If you dont want to do this,whisper in his angelic little ear what it would be like to be 16 without a pair of b***s.SORTED !

:mad: I had nuisence neighbours move 3 doors away from me in 1994.
He was a violent Scitso who had a record for violence as long as DBs arm, I wont say mine because i'm only short.
However, he had a unsavoury relationship with the police and if he started I would simply hurt him in a way that worked and phone the police.
It made him a lot worse but then I would phone them again and again.
This went on for about 3 years.
He went to prison for other offences during this time and you might think we got peace then, but no his horrid partner was as bad as him so use to pass my house and drop litter into my garden to wind me up, that is until I had enough and accidently on purpose took my wheely bin up and tipped it in there front garden.
The litter dropping suddenly stopped, he came out of the knick and gave her a good hiding, one of many and went back inside in 1997 were she was re-housed and the problem ended.
I hear he is back inside on an 8 year stretch for attacking somebody with a lump hammer, something he had done in the past including the police officer which came to my house on many occations.

I had my nuisance neighbour problem finally sorted this year and have never looked back.
the council had to be contacted as it went on for months.
It was a bad noise problem all through the night about 4 nights a week sometimes.
the violent drunk husband was even knocking seven bells out of his wife during this all night noise.
we could hear everything.
then we heard their kids screaming and that was it i contacted the council.
had to fill diaries in etc.
then had an appointment, the same day the nuisance neighbour's had a letter to appear at council offices.
2 week later it was all resolved.
the neighbour finally saw sense and got rid of violent husband.
she apologised to me through the council.

hope that man never comes back

ps the council did stress they more or less can only do something if
the nuisance neighbours are council tennants though.

Your right that they only help council tennants but the trouble was that he was a tennant and I a home owner so they would not do anything.
That is wrong, I pay my council tax and they have an obligation to control there tennants behaviour.
Having said that Sheffield council have and still are a useless bunch of knobheads.
