I'm old enough to go out, and have done so all over the UK, and have never come across the bouncers that I have in Sheffield! ever! not in any other place!

i've been serious assaulted at the leadmill and spearmint rhino's by bouncers - through no fault of my own. Each time I have tried to report this the club has backed the bouncers and nothing has come of my complaints, even to the SIA.

I also have had nights ruined by doorman however i am intelligent enough to realize that the minority with these power mad egos are in all walks of life. Not just in the secuirty industry but in all industries and sectors.

Im a dj in Scotland and have a lots of door lads as friends. Trust me not many people can do this job you need to be extremly confident in your ability to last the the security game. While i have been a residant i have seen door man come and go due to them not be able to handle the stain and pressure.
Imagine having to deal with all those drunks and aggressive customers wanting to smash your head in. The nicey nice approach isnt going to work. So this concluding that the idiots who cause the trouble make these no nosense doorman who need this attitude to do there job. Therefore us the innocent party sometimes resulting the concequences of over raged doorman.

At the end of the day they need to be like, you aint going to get a boys netball team cleaning the club out

For those who are exaggerating things... I work there myself, and was told the worse there was happening was a nosebleed, which looked a lot worse than it really was.

All those bouncers that had to go to hospital, were in work again on Sunday night. ****** off, but not physically hurt. And the bouncers are all good people actually, sometimes over-confident but you have to be, in order to do the job! People are told to remove hats and jackets for a reason you know.

I was in the que about 1 o clock just before it got rushed by the cops, one of the bouncers Sarge (sp?) told us not to come in because it wasn't safe (his exact words) an the guys who had rushed the door were all tooled up, next thing a bouncer comes out his face covered in blood and about 30 cops rushed in an the music stopped, I was stone cold sober as I had just finished work an drove into town an it scared me, normally at that time on a Sat nite I would have been half cut dancin away in Kingodm not giving a sh*t, glad I was late an didn't make it in.

well my sis and loads of her pals and her bf went in (i went home i think i had been on all dayer) and they had a good night and didnt metion no trouble but then agen they were probly too bombed to notice. glad i didnt go cus trouble follows me in that pit of a nightclub. my sis did, however, get her hair ragged by this phsyco bitch on the stairs for no reason whatso eva- so im glad i wasnt there 4 that cus phsyco bitch wudnt have had a face left

Yeah just been askin my sis Laura what happened to her on sat nite and this is what she had to say...

This problem with the clubs that play "Speed Garage" and "Bassline House" seems to have been getting very bad of late. This is my fave sort of music and i have had some of the best times in club that play it BUT for sum strange reason every club that plays it has serious trouble. I think it might be cauze in all clubs ya gonna get drugs and small time dealers or runners BUT in the mentioned places the big time dealers choose to go there for there "enjoyment" so automatically serious trouble follows em and all their little suckers.....guaranteed!!!! its the worst kind of lowlife trash that wants to stab/punch innocent people up and swallow them into their underworld......(breathe!!!!!):confused:

i went to global gathering a couple of years back and the twice as nice garage tent attracted the biggest nobs ever - they shut it down at midnite because it was all kicking off... dont know why it attracts rude boys... i used to be quite partial to a bit of artful dodger...now i avoid it like the plage.

Kingdom is great! Long may is last. It's like a holding centre for all the idiots who would spoil your night elsewhere in the city. I think they should allow free entry and lock the doors once they have all the chavs, gangstas, slappas, thugs and lechers inside for the night. Then we can all get on with having a good, fun night elsewhere!!!:)

No it wasn't - if you had been there or around the guys after you would know that, those guys had head injuries, nose injuries and hand injuries ( not caused by punching before someone suggests it)
They were not badly beaten by any means but it was much more than nose bleeds, please try not to cheapen what happened - it was not pretty at all.
