It's not the fact of slowing down a bit, pk,.......it's the Saturday Night TV watching you should see a doctor about. :hihi:

I can't go out anymore because my drinking buddies have all got sprogs and no-one wants to come out to play. I knew having kids took people to the next level, but I didn't realise it happened because of other people's children too. :(

I know aint it miserable being old. I used to love Friday & Saturday nights when I was single. The excitement of walking up town to the dance, going in a pub and getting blotto, then swaying into the dance in a happy haze !

I have wrote a fantastic poem about getting old if you want to see it I will post it.
I am 39 but you know you're old when dr's & teachers look young to you.
You've heard the songs in the charts before.
And you no longer feel comfortable going out in next to nothing.
Guess what, I THINK I'M OLD

i'm only 23 and I'd much rather go on a day out for a picnic, or to an animal sanctuary or just travelling in my campervan with my hubby -to-be!

I think I've grown up too quick!

I quit while I was ahead, I've never experienced a hangover to this day, and believe me I've been more than a little tipsy back in the day. :hihi:

You try living in a country that bases your age on the date of conception...Being that extra year older REALLY makes you feel ancient

I've never heard that one before. Where is it? (apart from the 'other side of the world')

My birthday is at the tail end of december, so when people see my year of birth they tend to age me a year too.

Strange as I always tell people that i'm the age of my next birthday, i'm 64 and will be 65 in August, but if someone asks me my age now i would say 65, it seems if i'm 6 months or so away from my next birthday thats what age i say i am:loopy: yes i'm ageing myself i know, but just thinking ahead i suppose, might as well get it over with, it's comming up anyhow:)
