I would love to know what colour coding a car is? Can you explain?

Isn't it just painting bumpers and trims the same colour as the body?
Sometimes extending the colour inside to the dash and more?
It's colour co-ordinating then ?

Wife's car is colour coded, - it's bright red :D
Dont you have to buy them like that? You would need to replace so many parts otherwise?
it may be possible to paint the bumpers (if they are currently black), but it will depend on the type of material they are made from.
You might be better finding a scrapped car and getting painted bumpers to match, although you might need to respray the entire car to get a matching colour.
It is just the front and back bumper and 2 side skirts I am wanting doing (yeah they are black at the mo) and the wing mirrors.
Any good body shop will do it for you.

Ring up your insurance company and ask them for the names of their recommended repairers in the area.
1) You'll have to tell your insurance company anyway as it will count as a modification.
2) It should mean you'll get at least a reasonable job done with a warranty, if the bodyshop is used to doing insurance class sprays (rather than a quick 'blow over').
3) alternatively, ask at the (hopefully reputable) garage where you get your car serviced where they get any repairs done.
Thanks for the replies, got a couple of places nah to try so hopefully can get it sorted.
