rite just seen kingdom on friday nites has stopped doin trance an scouse house nites and now doin ****ty popstars revival

are there any other places that do trance music or on friday nites
or has sheffield just got even worse??/

gatecrasher is bubblegum, cheese etc. in m humble opinion, rubbish! Zero is the mighty urban gorilla, mainly breakbeat. James lavelle tonight. UG in my opinion is one of the best clubs in sheff (no i'm not getting paid by them). At fez club (at the back of element) is pin up club, another one of the best nights in sheff. essentially house, but varies.

well, i went last nite, n dance n everything was the same in room 1!! dint bother with room 2 (upstairs) think its rubbish in there anyway!! so i don't know! :)

Mingdom was **** to start with! Please note it's never been good and it's certainly ainn't going to improve. Can't believe people chose in going to that place it's a bloody meat market! Im thinking townie /chav scum. Ha XXx

I just cant believe how much fun i used to have at pulse and vogue. Then I went to kingdom when and was terribly dissapointed! such a shame. makes me sad everytime i go passed P&V

kingdom is due to close dont know when but been told they are redevolping that part of town

Last I heard, they were moving it to the old club wow building at centertainment. Should keep some of the chavs out of town on a friday night at least.

Theres not much in the way of trance at the weekends in Sheffield at all since Gatecrasher stopped. PLANET ZOGG at Zero every second sat of the month plays the harder and more techno end of trance, and theres a new monthly night called AHEAD at the Adelphi thats run by some folk who used to be involved with Gatecrasher - you'll occcasioanly get some very hard trance at HEADCHARGE at the Arches but its mainly hard acid techno - and thats about your lot... Urban Gorilla at Zero is probably your best bet on a fri.
