If you work part time 16 hours a week over 2 days, how many days holiday are you entitled to, does anyone know?! THanks in advance forummers!

I'm on a 12hour contract and get 4 weeks holiday, but those holiday weeks I only get paid for 12hrs work, when I usually work about 27/week....

You get (at legal minimum) 4 times as many hours if you are contracted to for one week.
So you could get 64 hours paid holiday per year; with you working part time your company may let you have more unpaid time off.

Your calculation is correct, but the wording of the law is "4 weeks" annual paid leave.
This entitlement is for all workers whether full or part-time and you accrue your entitlement from your first day of work.

Your employer is also entitled to only grant you the leave that you have accrued. So if you wanted 2 full weeks off work, you would have to have been working for 6 months.
Your employer is also entitled to resaonable notice of you intention to take leave and there are definitions of what is reasonable.

Some employers give more than this and some are more flexible in how they allow you to take it. But the minimum rights are laid down in law.
