Can anyone recommend somewhere to eat on Wednesday lunchtime in town/ecclesall/glossop road?
Wanting somewhere for a nice girly lunch but with two toddlers (18months) so must be child friendly...usually good food is compensated with child friendly...

The Bath lets children in the back room, and the other place I've used is Weatherspoons in town.

Cafe Uno is pretty child friendly, lunch/sandwiches for a good price and the service of a better standard than a lot of places in sheffield. And wine :P ?

Aunt Sallys up near the hospital. The food is pretty crap but the place is always infested with kids and it's buy one get one free on meals all the time. And you can park.
Lunch buffet at pizza hut...
Agree with RozeePozee aboutCafe Uno. They are lovely with the kids, move the furniture around to get the buggies in and the food is pretty good.
How come it seems so hard to be child friendly and be able to serve tasty food?
Yeh, Cafe Uno is quite nice. I rang up once to ask, and they are quite kids friendly. As well as Cafe Rouge.

The Exchange Bar and Grill that used to be Hanrahan's would be suitable. They let kids in there. I went in with my sister's little boy and my Mum and Dad on a Sunday. There were quite a few other kids in at the time.
The decor is nice and the food is excellent! The sizzling Fajitas are amazing . Definitely recommend the place.
The "Swim Inn" on West street has a no smoking child friendly part to it.
And it opens at 9am.:o

isn't having a no smoking area in a pub a bit like having a no peeing area in a swimming pool; you aren't in the thick of it, but you still get the overflow :(

The Pasta Bar on Sharrowvale Road, lovely food and child friendly too, not expensive and great quality. The wine list in particular has some good value selections!!
Mamas & Leonies are ok with kids, and non-smoking.
Bar Matrix (behind Debenhams) are ok with kids.
Went to Cafe Uno...but will be much happier if they made the whole place non-smoking...We sat in a non-smoking area but you still get the fumes wafting over...
