i've just moved to sheffield. i'm looking for a rugby sports shop that sells rugby gear (headgear, mouthguards, boots, shorts etc) at a decent price. where would i go?

I don't know if the link is any use to you? Off the top, I would have suggested Sugg Sport (Pinstone St) which has been Sheffield's premier sports' store for over 40 years and more!

My daughter buys her hockey gear on-line but I'm sure someone younger can advise you if this is best for rugby kit also?

Have you tried Decathlon ? They've got most stuff at reasonable prices.

Snooprugby: Only this morning (Thurs) I have received a booklet from DECATHLON - sports megastore - in with my weekly Gazette, stating that they are running "Summer Offers from May 25 - June 25."
They probably, mistakenly think rugby is a winter sport, as it doesn't get a mention but their website is www.decathlon.co.uk
The site my daughter uses is http://www.mandmdirect.com/ hope this is useful. She had her gumshield made by her own dentist.
