Hello Folks,

I'm thinking of doing a complete rebranding of Mobile Unlocked.
New Logo, new design.
I'm even gonna opt for a new name.

Must have .com and .co.uk available for register.
Something memorable, nothing offensive, something which can be corporate but appeal to the general mobile phone users of the planet.

All ideas will be considered. However if you wouldn't mind, can you do a Domain search before you post your idea to check if the .com AND .co.uk (maybe even the .net too) are all available.

Feel free to PM me the idea if you prefer.

Let the ideas, commence.

How about posting a link for the nice Forum folk to check domains?

Re branding is ok if you are a huge corporation, but I dont see the point for your business, the name Mobileunlocked does what it says, so its fine.
If you change your name to say "yellow" (uses "Orange" as example as this was one of the weirdest names chosen at the time, but now everyone knows what it is) no one will know what your business is about.

Stick with it IMHO, if it is to try and generate new business then look for other ideas.

I agree with Mikey - unless you are adding services that make the name redundant, I'd stick with it!

(You can check domain name availability at www.nickcrossland.co.uk - if you enter two words, e.g. mobile unlocked, it will check it with and without hyphens - notice you haven't registered mobile-unlocked.co.uk!)

I see what you're saying guys, but I'm wanting to expand from just Mobile Unlocking. Eventually (with the market changing so fast), I'll need to branch out into other areas anyway.

I'll be keeping mobile unlocked cos basically the traffic it gets is great so I'll just forward the domain to whatever I choose.

However I want something unique, and not just taylor made to Mobile Unlocking.

I take on board what you're saying tho... keep em coming!
