To get something under your user name you need to have over 400 posts. When you've done that you can use the contact us button and ask them to change it for you to whatever name you like. You're restricted to the the amount of characters though.

We're not picking on you :) . It's just that some people have trouble reading text language, while others just find it irritating. Most forumers won't mind if your spelling is a bit dodgy, but quite a few simply don't bother to read posts which are written using text language.
