Hecate 18-05-2006, 21:30 Thanks, Rad :) . A male knitter too? Fantastic! A rare breed indeed. Not being a BB fan myself, I've taken it upon myself to appoint you as the Sheffield Knitting Group's official BB knitting correspondent. I expect daily updates, with particular attention paid to patterns and yarn choice :D . Apparently Shabaz has knitting has a hobby. Knitting is massive in America amongst blokes; lots of cafes have been reporting that they're seeing ever-increasing numbers of men knitting at the regular knitters' meetings. Have a look at the blog section (http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showpost.php?p=1076971&postcount=2) in the recommended links; I have a section called 'blokes who blog'. There's also a fantastic writer (and knitter) called Franklin Habit (http://the-panopticon.blogspot.com/) who contributes to one of the podcasts I listen to. If you ever feel the urge to take up the pointy sticks again, you'll be more than welcome here :) . rad 19-05-2006, 23:20 Erm I know nothing about knitting. They made me try at school, I couldnt even do one stich. But I'll tell you if he does any exciting knitting. none so far. jen13kd 19-05-2006, 23:23 shouldn't this be kept in the BB thread? Hecate 19-05-2006, 23:49 shouldn't this be kept in the BB thread? No, I'm quite happy for it to be here :) . |
