View Full Version : Mac.Safari and Wireless HELP

Hi guys, back again.... a friend of mine is trying to connect his mac laptop to his wireless broadband. all configuration on his router are OK, but.... his powerbook is not connecting to internet, using the safari browser...... i know how to tackle this in IE, but help is required to configure safari for LAN... any idea's?

Safari doesn't need configuring for LAN - it's just a browser.

From the Applications folder, open Internet Connect. Check that Airport (wireless) is turned on. You might as well tick the box to show the 'Airport status in the menu bar' for easy reference in the future.

Now check to see whether the Mac is actually seeing the wireless network - it should connect automatically to the router.
