Hi all, I`m pretty new to all this so please excuse me if this sounds like a daft question, but is it possible to get to the chatroom with Mirc? I have crappy eyesight and I need Mirc for chatrooms so that I can make the font larger etc.

No, the chatroom here isn't an IRC one, so you can't use mIRC to access it.

However, when you do access the chatroom using the link on the menu, you can enlarge the text in there by clicking on the maginfying glass icon with a "+" symbol on it.

I did attempt to run an IRC based chat room for people who are interested, however we diddnt get many visitors, Its still up and active, and I still sit in there in the hope of getting it active..

Server info is - irc.WorldGamers.Net - channel #Sheff-Forum (Its this network cause I run the network ;) )

Ill try to connect and visit you there....I wonder if I could get a few others to go too...I wonder how many forumers know about mirc...

IRC is great :D, although I hate mIRC. I use irssi (http://irssi.org).

I had a look at the irssi thing and it looked a bit complicated, I`m used to mirc and I`m too lazy to try to learn how to start with something new lol.
