I had not drank any coca-cola for quite sometime ... had a few on my hols though and bought a 6 can pack last night.

I've now decided it's the most foul substance known to man ... and can quite distinctly make out the caramel flavour and the stuff gives me a headache.

What do you think ... love it or hate it !?

I've fallen out with most soft drinks, water on its own is so much nicer.

Ahh cola mmmmmmmmmm *drools*. It definately tastes better out of a can or if you got real money a glass bottle. I used to drink loads of coke now I just go for the alternative.

Is this specifically Coca-cola or is it cola in general? I don't like Coca-cola much, but Pepsi Max is delicious.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm yummy!! esp when ur really thirsty and u get a really cold can of coke. gorgeous! beats pepsi anyday :)

Well ... I was thinking more of coca-cola standard ... from a can.

But I was concerned not to give coca-cola a bad press for Geoff's sake ... incase of any Coca-cola vs Sheffield Forum legal actions ...

I only drink Diet Coke, in a vain attempt to try and lose weight :(

I'm not really bothered what brand Coke I'm drinking cos at the end of the day I can't really tell the difference, lol.

Steady on, I was only expressing my personal opinion. It doesn't necessarily reflect the opinion of forum management. I'm sure there's also other people who love Coca-cola and wouldn't touch Pepsi with a barge pole.

i love coke if iv been out and got a really bad hangover and a dry mouth (you know the feeling) i love coke my bloke calls it my medicen!! mmmmmmmmmmm

Coca Cola is ok - but I don't like it cold and fizzy so I have to leave the can on the side for an hour or so! Warm, flat cola - mmmmm!

i don't mind a can of coca cola but it has to be coca cola and not another brand (don't ask me why!)

in germany they drink mezza mix - a mix of coke and fanta - sounds a bit daft :loopy: but it's quite nice actually!! :roll:

I especially like it with Capt. Morgan or Jack Daniel's in it.;)

If it's diet it has to be pepsi. I find it more refreshing than diet coke which has less taste and more fizz. Windy pops!

As far as the full fat stuff goes though I don't mind either. Prefer still drinks myself though. Oasis, still Lucozade etc.

I find it is used as a pollutant in an otherwise good scotch!
I've tried educating the little woman(condescending title) to drink it properley, but to no avail.

I've found the full fat stuff is great for giving to diabetics if it looks like they're going low. Lucozade orange or original is better but not by much so I'm told. So now you can use it medicinally as well should the opportunity arise.

I can take it or leave it. I generally only like the top brands. I don't like Panda, Wild or Supermarket cola.

Vile stuff. Should be banned.

Don't give it house room.

yes i agree, there's nothing better the morning after a night out, than a nice cool drink of coke.


but i do prefer pepsi... its more sweeter, while i feel coke is more watery!!
but a lot of people cant tel any difference!! took me a while to notice i have to admit....i drink 3 cans a day now :lol:

Best stuff is Pepsi Max, then diet coke with lemon and lastly diet coke with lime [sold in states; not enuff lime though for me !]

Diet coke, can't drink the full sugar stuff anymore.

Nah i hate vanilla, but the lemon one just tastes of lemon, not coke at all .

I agree... Vanilla coke is 'orrible.

Apparently diet Vanilla Pepsi is nice as it has less Vanilla than normal vanilla coke.

UUUrggg!!! I can't stand the stuff or pepsi. It's along the lines of MacDonalds. It's the devils juice!!! lol

Quite an odd thing happened to me though. When I was pregnant with both my children I suffered with Hyperemesis and was in hospital quite often. The only thing I could and would drink was COLA. I bought crates of the stuff.
I couldn't even stomach the low caffeine one, it had to be the real deal. Very bad! It was very strange as I couldn't tolerate anything that was bad for me.

I did go on to give birth to 2 very healthy children with no nervous dispositions.

I went back to hating the stuff right after giving birth.

I must be the only person in the world who cant distinguish between Coke and Pepsi!!!
To be honest I only ever have it as a mixer :wink: I ask for JD and coke and if the bardude says we've only got pepsi, um whatever tastes the same to me.

Good stuff after a night out on the razz :thumbsup: but I tend to go straight for the orange Lucozade now instead :D

I love "cola", prefer Coca-Cola to Pepsi mind.

Other than Pepsi's usually dearer than Coca Cola, damn those dang blasted Yanks and their expensive imported branded names.

Good old Coca cola out of a glass bottle. the drink is great but WHAT AN ANNOYING ADVERT!! The woman who shoplifts 20 bottles in her handbag and then sings as she hands them out!?

I have to switch over when it comes on otherwise I may smash my telly by throwing a bottle of coke at her head.

No ive never liked coke and always wondered why so many people did - but then again more people wondered why i didnt.

Todays news reports a scientific paper which claims that countries with a high consumption of FIZZY soft drinks show a much higher incidence of throat cancer. Another reason not to love it?
