I'm at around 28000 tracks now, got things dating back from Leadbelly to the Libertines and so on. Anyone else out there do the same?

I've got just under 15000 and none of them jazz.

ooooo ye! i save me vinyl! im collecting it at this moment cos i just love it! I've got at least 700 mp3 tunes at the moment on me Ipod and quite a few cd's.

got loads of old vynil n cd's.

I have been buying records and tapes since the seventies and still collect them now.When cd's came out I started buying those, And still do. And now its music downloads and the mp3 player. Crazy. Some of the music I have bought I have never even listened to.

Some of them could be quite collectable by now.

Just remembered, I also have a box of 8 track tapes in my loft. Some of them are still unopened

40,000 odd songs atm. Plus a couple of boxes of CD's I have'nt ripped yet.

I have lots and lots of music! I regret throwing out some old CDs out when I moved a couple of years ago so I will hereby, never throw/delete anymore music again ever :)

I have about 3000 albums on CD, and some MP3s and plenty of vinyl. I listen to all sorts. I have nowhere left to put it all. I never give cd's away/throw them away. I don't buy pop ****e that no one will listen to in 2 years, so there's likely to be a time when I want to listen to it further down the line.

my husband is terrible at this we have boxes and boxes of cd's in the loft. thousands of dvd's all full of mp3's + a 300gb hard drive full of mp3.

he d/l stuff that he has never had the time to listen too. so much so that his hobby has become d/l rather than the music.

About 500 CDs which are all ripped to FLAC and MP3 :)

I have hundreds of CDs and now I`m filling up an Ipod plus memory cards and a mini disk with mp3s. I`m even downloading songs that I dont like just to collect as many as I can, I`m really turning into an obsessive. I`m even sticking Cds onto the comp and converting them to mp3 format just so I can stuff them onto the players.
