Hi

I am due to move house shortly and i am looking for a removal company that isnt going to make me pay for 4 hours work when really the move will be done in about 1 trip (2hrs max).
Has anyone used a good removal company recently that they would reccomend?

Thanks B x

id suggest renting a van yourself and getting friends to help if its only 1 trip :D

I would but i'm moving from a flat to a house and the flat has 2 flights of stairs... of which i would have to carry a 6ft fridge down and a washer and i dont know any strong men!

And the flights of stairs are exactly why you'd get charged for 4 hours instead of 1 :)

I had to move into and then out of a 3rd floor flat 15 months later while the gf just stood there grinning. Great fun getting a 28" widescreen up and down the stairs by yourself :gag:

They dont even know about the stairs!!!
its just a minimum charge if you like, so dread to think how much they'll charge when they know!

:help:

looks like it'll be just me and a van... lol
