I'm only really any use when it comes to guitar amps. Tube amps are only really desirable for guitars really because of their warm tone, and lovely distortion. If it's for things like DVDs etc, i think you should go for a digital amp. having said that i'm no expert so am open to criticism there

I have only start to look to day so haven't got much info yet.

what differance does the amp (ohm0 make and what about watt

and size of speekers.

Its going to be for playing music more than any thing. and i like my music loud and clear

forget about tube or digital! go for a nice cond 80s or 90s amp instead. you will save loads of money and and get good sound.
not as though sound has improved since the 70s anyway!

stuff made then was always better than normal hearing at best.
as for wattage, 40 to 60 will do most jobs and ohmage has been 4 for years. most speakers are 8 anyway.

cheaper amps, new and old will usually only accept 8 ohm speakers, so put 4 ohms on these and you will fry your amp.
if the amp has only two speaker outs, use only two, not four or more like the uneducated do.

not enough space here to tell you everything though.
good hunting

Its just before you hit the main centre of broomhill (comming from the city centre) and its on the right, on a corner, right next to the nottingham (if I have the right name of the pub, feel free to correct me if im wrong!)
