Do you have greying plastic bumpers? Do you use BUMPER BACK to clean them, only to find that when it rains it washes off?

Try this instead.

Sunflower cooking oil, rubbed on with a dry cloth then the excess wiped off.

It gives a satin black finish and lasts for ages.

And as a side benefit, you get a lovely selection of dead flies stuck to them but they wipe off easily.

Also works on side bump strip and wing mirror casings.

Anyone else got any sad-but-useful tips?

Worried that it'll damage your car, being cheap nasty stuff? Read the address of the manufacturing company, then go into any motor spares and read the address on the cans there that sell for a fiver! Same place.

I already do that.

If you have an old hard drive strip it down and get the magnet.

the magnet is great for getting crap out of you engin:-

place magnet on you oil filter near the top...:thumbsup:
