Have just got a new phone on T-Mobile (LG KG225) but want to also use it on Vodafone.
Has anyone had bad experiences with market stalls that do unlocking?
I would prefer not to pay T-Mobile 20.00 to unlock it but is too new to get a code or clip off Ebay.
Have heard some unlockers actually cut tracks on the boards or overwrite firmware data?

Why did you buy a T Mobile phone, if you wanted to use it on Vodaphone?

There is a few people on SF who offer mobile unlocking services. If you do a search, I'm sure you will find several references, and you could PM those users, asking for their help.

He only does Samsung and Nokia I think but he might be able to point you in the right direction

If you are close to crystal peaks - the guy in the indoor market is very good and I can highly recommend him.

He unlocked both my and mrs ang to be's Samsung D500's from o2 to all networks the other day for £20 for the two handsets.
It took him about 3 mins for the two of them as well.

Not a bad little earner that

I'd give him a try if you can- otherwise I'm sure as said before- DaBouncer could sort you out.
