This bloke has presided over a Government which, for 9 years, has guided us to the the position where, surprise, surprise, the general public have no confidence in "the Criminal System".

He has suddenly woken up from the dreamland he has inhabited for the last 9 years, whilst the rest of us have been living in the reality he and his colleagues have created over that period. Yet another "initiative" is needed apparently.

I post a link to the "Daily Telegraph" online site, for which public access is readily available, and I believe the reader's comments on this Section are worthy of your examination. Many views parallel my own, and I think from reading Sheffield Forum regularly, reflect those of most of you too.

I think he is wasting his breath trying to convince us of his good intentions in the matter of Law and Order and "Tough on Crime, Tough on the Causes of Crime". That time is long gone. Please take out a bit of time to read Intro and Blog comments from their readers today.

Your comments would be appreciated...........
