I remember many singers impersonating varius singers at the time, a Roy Orbison sticks out but anyoner remember the Frank Sinatra impersonater on the club circuit.
He wouls be in his 50s in the 1970s and looked like Sinatra, he sang like him to and to be honest would could hardly tell the difference.
I feel if he was around today he could have taken his act to the theatres, he was that good.
Anyone know his name....

Also on the subject of WMC anyone recall a group in the late 60s called Tyke.

maybe the one in the film"Hear my Song"he was pretty good and the times about right.

If its the same one ,his name was Danny"SINATRA" Wilson, he was doing the rounds at that time,good luck.

i think the Roy Orbison one would have been my dad,Dave Newman billed as A Touch of Orbison. I dont remember seeing the Frank Sinatra one tho sorry.

It was Danny Sinatra Wilson and I agree that he was as good as you would see.
