Hi guys
Since Saturday my Nokia 6820 mobile won't let me text out or even make calls as the keypad (both the normal one and the qwerty keypad) have given in. In saying that, just one half of the qwerty keypad will work but theres very little I can do with only a handful of keys!
This phone has buttons by the screen too, which still work, so I can access text messages if they come through, and if I go into my missed or recieved calls I can dial out with a lot of fiddling round, but only to people who have made a call to my mobile, so I can in effect only return their calls, nobody else's.
Has anyone ever had this happen to them? Anybody any ideas what to do?
Oh and I should say that last night for about 10 mins it all kicked in working again just fine.. then died on me once more :(
I have a lot of text messages and stuff that I don't want to lose when I purchase a new phone too, which I believe are saved to the phones memory and not the sim. Is there anyway these can be somehow transfered to the new mobile, either with help via my computer or bluetooth or something??
Cheers
