By a law recently passed in the Queensland Parliament, the section of the criminal code making it an offence for a parliamentarian to lie to a parliamentary committe has been repealed!
Has Tony Blair or George W Bush yet heard of this? How soon will this brilliant innovation come to the UK or the USA?

At least they’ve now got a legitimate excuse. We’re more democratic. Our parliamentarians lie through their teeth every day without giving it a second thought. Tony even does it smiling! Don’t tell him about Queensland though, it’ll only give him ideas!
