help ive moved into a house and the garden is a mess its a council house but when ive asked the council for help they basicaly told me its nothing to do with them and if its not appropriate then i should do it myself,
right the garden itself is about 25 by about 20 foot n it slopes down not massively but its there so what i wanted was the grass removing its basicly weeds neways and want it leveling and some turf then laying oh and maybe a wall built across so i can seperate a bit for a flower garden but this isnt urgent,
now the thing is im clueless about gardening and wouldnt even want to guess how much this would cost .would do it myself but like i said i havent a clue plus with 3 babies to look after i dont really have n e time, does anyone have any idea what something like this would cost i would phone someone out but dont want to faint at the cost so if i had some sort of an idea i can prepare myself lol :)

Levelling could cost quite a bit because unless the gradient is very slight, the top soil would need taking off, the sub soil levelling (and the spare disposed of) and the top soil put back.
Could cost a bit in labour charges.
Then the cost of about 20 sq. yards of turf and laying (at least that's quick)

If you are strapped for cash it's worth considering putting up with the slope, kill/dig up the old grass and weeds, fork the soil, firm it, rake it and then sow grass seed (best time April/May or September)

Depends on cash flow and the gradient of your slope.
I think bricks are about 20p each so you could estimate how many you would need. Not sure how much a brickie would charge per day.
