View Full Version : Looking for cooking websites CoNrAd 14-05-2004, 10:45 I am looking for a website where you can put what food you have round the house in to a datebase. And it comes up with a list of recipes. Fantomas 14-05-2004, 10:47 This BBC one - http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/ is really good. I've used it quite a lot. Jayne 14-05-2004, 13:15 there's one on www.taste.co.uk I think the sainsburys website Grissom 14-05-2004, 13:44 Delia has many recipes for free and also a section where you pay a one off fee to get 40 or so recipes for singletons like myself : free : http://www.deliaonline.com/ paid : http://www.deliaonline.com/premium/forone/ On the delia site, there is a list of ingredients here : http://www.deliaonline.com/ingredients/ingredientsatoz/ select the ingredient and a list of recipes is displayed that use the item. The programmes on BBC2 from 10 - 12 on a Saturday are VERY good  CoNrAd 14-05-2004, 15:04 thanks guys will work my way throught them over the weekend steelblade 14-05-2004, 15:27 www.campbellsoup.co.uk has loads of recipes and all you need is a can of soup! It's fantastic. The chicken and bacon pasta bake is yummy. It is an American website so everything is in imperial measurement -cups and teaspoons. Very easy to understand! You won't find anything metric. It's a colourful web site and shows lots of pictures with recipes that you can print off. It's based on all the tv shows on the cooking channel. CoNrAd 15-05-2004, 11:58 will take a look but i don't print bad for the environment. i use my Ipaq of parm top pc.. got it off e-bay for £5 its an old one but saves on printing and the environment... |
