It would be great if you could post photographs of you're classic cars up. Or maybe post pictures up of a restoration in progress.

As you probably know, we can't post images directly on the forum, but what we can do is post links to the pictures.

Here's a good way to do this, using Photobucket.

All you need to do is go to Photobucket (http://photobucket.com/) and create an account (it's free!).

Once you've got your account, click on the 'Browse' button in the 'Add Pictures' box. This will let you find the photo on your computer that you want to post. Once you've done that, click 'Submit', and your photo will appear in Photobucket.

Now you need to post the link to it on here. All you need to do is copy all the information in the 'URL' box inderneath your photo, and paste it into your message.

People will now be able to click on your link and see your photo .

Okay I copied these instructions from the knitting group, many thanks ;)

Photobucket sometimes give people an image of bandwidth exceeded so maybe check out www.imageshack.us that is free and also does not give the bandwidth image, if it does then its gotta be extreme views lol. You can also setup a gallery there aswell and also animate your images into slideshows etc.

There is also www.tinypic.com.

I use Clikpic to display my pictures but you do have to pay per year - but then you can upload up to 60 images at a good size. It is not worth it if you only want to upload snaps - if you need a site for that many people use www.flickr.com - it is free and you can have your own albums to share with everyone or just slected friends

It is ideal too, if you want to sell photo's or get commissions - I do all types of photography from Weddings and flowers to Portraits, but I specialise in vehicles of all types.

Mine are online at www.dougchinnery.co.uk
