Unfotunately, I have the 'Winfixer' spyware on my laptop. Known to be to be a pain to remove.

As far as I can see, the only relatively easy way to remove it is with 'Spysweeper' software

They used to offer a free 14 day evaluation copy, but they no longer do this. (They now offer a free download/system scan, but want ££ss to remove any found spyware)

So, has anyone on the forum got the original free evaluation copy on their hard drive, all zipped up and unexpired? Would you be willing to sent it as an attachment by email for me?

I have an original copy of Nero OEM Suite, or maybe even something else for a web designer that I'm willing to trade :)

Dreamweaver with key/upgrade key could be up for a swap.....

I'll give it a go Savannah2, very similar to what sccsux posted in an older thread that I resurrected today whilst searching.
The temporary 'blue screen of death' mentioned in the page is enough to see me running for cover though :suspect:
