We are in the process of buying a house in S8 that needs renovating. I am looking for a reliable builder, for knocking down a wall, putting in new patio doors and general renovation.

whatever you do, don't use java construction (james vaughan), he has £24000 of outstanding ccjs from ripping people off with shoddy workmanship, including me.

Bob the builder is very good but seems to have taken the same route as the guy off the Halifax ads and gone more into showbiz.

I can recommend a good joiner. He is happy to consider all sorts of work not just timber stuff. His name is Lyndon and you can get him on 07786927234.

NEVER EVER use RGS builders - or, as they will probably change their name soon, look out for Andy and Roy Goodison. They are cowardly, crooked thieves who will run off with your money and never finish the job. I speak from personal (foolish) experience with them.
