Last night during Lost and first run Lost on E4, I noticed the Big Brother Eye flash up during the adverts and at other interjections. I know that product advertising like this is illegal but surely advertising the upcoming dross that is BB this way is also a form of product advertising and therefore also illegal?

Has anyone else noticed this?

Surely if you saw it, and noticed it enough to post on here, then it wasn't subliminal.

Sub·lim·i·nal (sŭb-lĭm'ə-nəl)
adj. Psychology.
1. Below the threshold of conscious perception. Used of stimuli.
2. Inadequate to produce conscious awareness but able to evoke a response: subliminal propaganda.

It's not against the law as it's not a flashframe, like adambaz says.

Maybe my conscious perception threshold is above that of modern advertising methods

C4 have been doing this for years for BB. Sky also do this I remember just seeing a quick picture of Tyson in between programs around 10 years ago.
