Just wondered if anyone had any info on the site on Queens Road S2 (i think)Its now a retail park with Poundstretcher,Netto, and United Carpets etc.It used to be a Tram/Rail or Bus depot ive been told.Apparantly there has been some spooky goings on in one of the retail units and according to a customer,a man took his own life there years ago.I have no further information on this and am intrigued to find out more info.If anyone could help please get in touch.thanks.

when i started to work for netto 2 years a go i was doing some cleaning on the first lane if the shop when all of a sudden i herd a small kid of i would say about 12 - 14 year old asked me what i was doing when i tern round there was no one there so as you could i magen the shock as i shot out of the shop and now it seems to be about alot more like the over day it frow a pen at me and an over lady in the shop we fore it was some one messing but it could not have been as the pen was next to us so if you now anything of have feel,see or sensed (an cooled spot) please let us no asap and help us to shed some light on the matter

Yes, this was the site of Sheffield Tramways workshops, trams were actually built here and maintained, the site was in use for rebuilding and bodywork repairs on Sheffields buses right up to the 1980s, it only closed when Mainline was fully privatised.
Heavy parts and equipment was brought to the works on the private railway line that runs along the back of the premises.
