At the end of the day, they are only 2 football teams. I dont like United but you dont see me coming on SF and within the first 2 posts your slagging wednesday off. You're in for a disappointment.

Not to say you won't consolidate, but that's what you have to aim for, realistically. I can't see you being next year's Wigan. Nowt wrong with optimism, just be prepared for a rough ride.

Personally, I think you'll do better than Sunderland, but you'll be crapping it for at least a few weeks when you look at the table. Reckon you'll stay uop though

The problem with Wednesdayites calling Blades fans pigs and vice versa is that it usually leads to trolling. Blades fans return the 'compliment' and it goes on ad infinitum. It's hardly interesting is it?

Why should I be embarrassed at supporting the Blades? Having struggled to read your post with its poor grammar and spelling, if anyone's a reason to be embarrassed then maybe you should look closer to home.

I'm not offended! It's simply that calling each other names on these here pages is just futile. There are some good posters on here from both sides of the city and as a Blades fan (albeit a lapsed one) I'm always interested to hear opinions of Wednesdayites, that is well-informed and reasonable opinions. Calling each other pigs is just silly.

As I said earlier, banter and ribbing is fine but there is a line to be drawn. I'd much sooner hear a Wednesdayite telling me why he believes the Blades will be relegated next season and give the reasons why rather than just to be told that we're pigs. You know what I mean!!

The season will be long and tough for the blades, I am a great believer it all comes down to the start of the season, Charlton actaully survived because of their start last season, otherwise they were truly in relegation form. The Blades to stay up need to be looking at 20 points plus by xmas, this may only be 7 games but being realistic they need to have them points in the bag. I do beleive they will do better than Sunderland but the best you can hope is 4th from bottom.
Question for the Villa fan, How has Doug Ellis survived so long any other club he would have gone along time ago. I am a Man u fan, and for the benefit of sarcastic comments I was born 6 miles from the ground, but getting back to Villa, I ahve always liked them and their fans at both home and away but Doug is a relic a decade out of date. Good luck I hope your wish comes true and you get someone in that wants to move forward.
